Last month in Club 18, middle schoolers participated in a writing workshop designed to give young writers the skills to create a story that told their “personal truth.” Eleanor Meyer, a 6th grader at Claire Lilienthal Alternative School, wrote a story about vampires, bullying, and living life to its fullest, with chapters alternating between 1st and 2nd person narrative.
